Zalman R2 Mid-Tower Case – Black Tempered Glass

The R2 Black Mid-Tower from Zalman is an inexpensive but superbly designed PC case. Part of the R series, it includes stylish features such as a tempered glass side panel and minimalist front panel with side ventilation slots to improve airflow. Additionally, there is space behind the front panel for three 120 or 140mm fans with removable dust filters on the lid and underside to help ensure clean airfrlow. These include a PSU shroud to help maintain a neat and tidy interior. Up to two 3.5″ and two 2.5″ drives can be stored in an HDD cage and on the motherboard tray. There are great options for cooling with the front of the case able to accommodate up to three 120 or 140mm fans. Two further 120mm fans can be fitted to the roof and a 120mm fan can be installed at the back. In fact Zalman have bundled the case with a Spectrum RGB series 120mm fan. For those looking to set up a water cooling system, a 240mm radiator can be attached to the front and a smaller 120mm radiator on the back. There is also room for a power supply of up to 190mm with CPU coolers up to 162mm high and GPUs up to 350mm long. Finally the Zalman R2’s I/O panel features one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and audio input / output jack.
