Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB Plus Dual Fan CPU Cooler – 120mm

The Scythe-Mugen series has established itself as an inexpensive high-performance CPU cooler. The Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB Plus CPU cooler comes with digitally addressable RGB lighting that is compatible with the interfaces of leading manufacturers. A small RGB controller is still included. The Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB Plus CPU cooler at a glance: – Asymmetrical tower design with six heat pipes – Two ARGB fans with max. 1,500 rpm (120 mm) – Incl. ARGB controller type ACT-1000L – Easy installation thanks to the “HPMS II” mounting system – Quiet operation at a maximum of 29.75 dB (A) – Illuminated radiator cover for a chic look – High compatibility with AMD and Intel Efficient CPU cooling with the Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB Plus In contrast to its predecessor, the Mugen 5 has a slightly changed design. Thanks to the six inclined heat pipes, the asymmetrically arranged heat sink does not sit directly above the base plate and thus allows unrestricted access to the memory banks, which can therefore also accommodate protruding memory bars with large heat sinks. The contact points of the six heat pipes were sensibly distributed on the large aluminum heat sink and, with a total of twelve risers, ensure a high heat transfer capacity. There is a plastic cover on the top of the tower cooler with the manufacturer’s logo and RGB LED lighting. The other design details correspond to the usual Scythe cooler range: the fins are therefore made of aluminum, while the base is made of copper and protected with a nickel layer. The scope of delivery includes two 120 mm fans of the type Kaze Flex A-RGB PWM 120 , which work in a push-pull configuration. The illuminated PWM fans from the Kaze Flex series from Scythe offer a very wide control range from 300 to 1,500 rpm . This makes the Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB PlusEquipped for every purpose from ultra-silent to overclocking, after all it generates just 4 dB (A) at minimum speed and in return transports a whopping 112.93 m³ / h of air at maximum speed. In addition, the two fans are equipped with digitally addressable RGB LED lighting, which can be connected to the mainboard via a 3-pin RGB connection (5 V) and with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, among others. Gigabyte RGB Fusion and ASRock Polychrome Sync is compatible. The mounting kit offers extensive compatibility with AMD and Intel sockets . In addition, with its sturdy screw connection, it guarantees a secure fit of the cooler even during transport. Thermal paste and installation instructions are also included.
