The Glacier C350aphas been refined down to the essentials. A nickel-plated copper base plate forms thefoundation of the CPU monoblock and the 0,4 mm wide and 5 mm high fins on the topenable optimal heat transfer from the base plate into the liquid coolant.The black acetal cover is fastened to the base plate with the help of a Viton O-ring. Viton offers an especially high thermal and chemical resistance, and because of thischaracteristic it is frequently used for sealing fuel tanks in the aerospace and automotive industries. Thetop of the acetal cover is embedded with connections for G1/4″ thread fittings.The installation is made as easy as possible with the help of a flexible mounting system that enablessupport for AMD Socket FM1, FM2(+), AM2(+), AM3(+) and AM4. The installation itself is extremelystraightforward and all materials necessary for installation on the motherboard come included.Phanteks even includes a tube of their own thermal paste.Note: This product is delivered without the necessary fittings.
