The front of the case is equipped with optimised mesh to help take airflow up another level, as such, cooling has been front and centre of PHANTEKS’ development process. Located in the centre of the roof and towards the front, users will see the illuminated power button, while both audio connectors and USB 3.0 ports of the front panel are angled towards the right side. The majority of the roof is taken up by the presence of a large, removable dust filter, which has the look of a kind of mesh grid and is situated over the top of the requisite air inlets.Medium-Sized Case for Gaming Graphics CardsThe black interior of the Eclipse P300A also manages to distinguish itself from the competition with its ultra-premium looks and the PSU shroud that is subdivided into two sections. This means that the PSU shroud is able to conceal the drive bays which are rotated to a 90-degree angle. These enable tool-free installation of two 3.5- or 2.5″ drives via the front, after removing the front cover of course. Behind the motherboard tray users will be pleased to know that an SSD can be mounted using the “Drop-N-Lock” SSD bracket, with a second bracket also possible as an upgrade. In terms of cable management, the case reserves 35 mm of space, meaning that there’s more than enough room to stow things away neatly. Velcro cable guides also help users get an extremely clean case interior. For casual- and hardcore gamers, the PHANTEKS Eclipse P300 Air offers all the mod-cons for high-end gaming hardware that you could expect, for example graphics cards up to 355 mm in length are compatible and the presence of radiator mountings for AiO- and custom water cooling solutions. The rear of the case offers a mounting point for one 120 mm fan or similar-sized radiator, while the front supports either two 120 mm fans or 140 mm fans. As an alternative to the front-mounted fans, either a 240- or 280 mm radiator can be installed instead. In addition to the pre-installed 120 mm fan in the rear, a 120- or 140 mm case fan can be mounted in the roof of the case. Those who prefer to use tall CPU coolers are well taken care of thanks to compatibility for coolers up to a height of 16.5 cm.
