A 2.5″ HDD/SSD can operate without external power supply. For 3.5″ and 5.25 “devices, it might be neccessary to use the power supply.Small and nimbleThe adapter is connected via USB to the PC and with the fast USB 3.0 with UASP support, Files can be copied rapidly and the adapter can be removed again in no time.Under powerThe IB-AC704-6G is compact and portable, the installation of all standard 2.5″ SATA hard drives and SSDs just happens, driverless. A 3.5″ HDD or a 5.25″ drive might be power hungry.
