Akasa AK-HC-05U3BK Internal 6-Port USB 3.0 Card Reader – Black

Highly versatile, and thanks to the USB 3.0 connection, also extremely fast – this card reader from Akasa can read and write to six different common card formats. Furthermore, the AK-HC-05BKV2 offers users the option of connecting four USB 2.0 devices and even two super-fast USB 3.0 storage devices to the motherboard using the case’s front panel. An eSATA connector rounds out the generous selection of connectors.The AK-HC-05BKV2 Multipanel with its brushed aluminium front can be installed in an empty 5.25″ bay. Internally it is connected using a free USB 2.0 header and a SATA port to the motherboard. Both USB 3.0 ports are similarly connected via an internal header. The card reader is connected using an external USB 3.0 connection, as such routing through the outside of the case may sometimes be necessary.Additionally, a 4-pin Molex connector enables the device to be connected to the PSU for power.
