The one-piece front panel and the large tinted, tempered glass side window lends the case an exceptionally premium look, and this is enhanced yet further with the help of the LED lighting below the huge tempered glass window. The fins on the upper section of the front, which conveniently also serve as vents, offer a welcome contrast to the sleek uniformity of the front panel.Towards the front of the top of the case is located the RGB-LED illuminated power button, while both audio jacks along with the front panel USB 3.0 ports are located on the sides and angled towards the right. The button for controlling the LEDs is also located on this part of the Eclipse P300. The majority of the top of the case is taken up with a large removable dust filter that has the appearance of a large mesh grille and also rests on a large ventilation grille.Medium-Sized Case for Gaming Graphics Cards & AiO Water CoolingEven the black interior of the Eclipse P300 impresses thanks to the black paintwork, and the overall look remains tidy and clean thanks in part to the power supply shroud which divides the interior into two chambers. In this way the power supply shroud also covers the 90°-angled drive bays. These enable the tool-less installation of two 3,5- or 2,5″ storage devices in the front after removing the front cover. Behind the motherboard tray, an SSD can be installed in the “Drop-N-Lock”-style SSD bracket. A second bracket may be fitted optionally. In terms of cable management, the 35 mm of space offers plenty of opportunities for an incredibly clean layout. Velcro cable ties also go a long way towards making the cable management as clean as possible.The Phanteks Eclipse P300 offers enthusiasts and hardcore gamers an extensive array of options in terms of installing high-end gaming hardware in the case, for example graphics cards up to 330 mm long and radiator mountings for AiO- and custom water cooling. The rear of the case offers the option of installing a 120 mm fan or compatible radiator while the front allows for two 120- or 140 mm fans. Alternatively, the front-facing fans can be replaced with a 240- or 280 mm radiator. In addition to the pre-installed 120 mm fan in the back, a 120- or 140 mm case fan can be mounted in the top.For those who would prefer to mount a regular CPU cooler on their processor can opt for a model up to 16 cm in height, while power supplies up to 197 mm long can be installed to supply the gaming system with the requisite power. The LED lighting is powered by means of a 12 V SATA cable and the case’s LED lighting can be supplemented with the addition of an optional LED controller or a motherboard which offers a compatible RGB connector. Furthermore the case is, with the addition of an optional RGB motherboard adapter, compatible with ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and MSI Mystic Light, which allows the motherboard’s lighting to be synchronised with that of the case.
