AXAGON PCEM2-N PCIe 3.0 x4 Adapter, 1x M.2 NVMe SSD With Passive Cooling

With the PCEM2-N , AXAGON offers an internal adapter that connects an NVMe M.2 SSD to the PC via a PCI Express slot. This is particularly useful if the mainboard does not have a corresponding M.2 slot or if these are already occupied. The adapter enables the use of single and double-sided M.2 SSDs in x16, x8 and x4 PCIe 3.0 slots.The PCI Express bus powers the PCEM2-N directly, eliminating the need for an external source. Thermal pads and copper-plated ventilation openings help to better dissipate the waste heat generated by the M.2 SSDs under load.
