The ingeniously designed S2 Midi-Tower from Zalman makes for an affordable case in the new S-series and offers a large acrylic glass side panel. An attractive “grid”-style front panel includes a dust filter and the pre-installed 120 mm fan ensures optimal airflow within the case. Additional removable dust filters are available in the roof and in the bottom of the case. Last but not least, the PSU shroud helps provide a tidy interior where there is plenty of space to install your hardware. As such the case offers a clean look as well as a PSU shroud, and plenty of space for cable management behind the motherboard tray. Up to two 3,5″ hard drives or two 2,5″ SSDs, which can be installed without needing tools, are located in a HDD cage behind the power supply. The reverse of the motherboard tray allows for two further SSDs.Underneath the PSU shroud is space for a large PSU of up to 180 mm in length. Six cut-outs are available to assist users in cable management. There is a fan pre-installed in the back of the case. Two further 120 mm fans can be installed on the top side of the PSU shroud and in the roof of the case, along with three at the front of the case. The front can hold a 120 mm radiator instead of fans if you prefer as well as a smaller 120 mm fan in the rear. The bottom and the roof include removable dust filters and the stylish mesh-style front with its grid is also kitted out with a dust filter. This case will certainly help to keep your expensive hardware in great condition.The I/O panel with a USB 3.0 connector and two USB 2.0 connections offers the basics and is located to the front of the roof. Multiple long graphics cards up to 330 mm can fit in this premium case and would make the Z2 the perfect foundation for a high-end gaming system.
