Scythe Kotetsu Mark II CPU Cooler – 120mm

The Scythe Kotetsu has always proven itself as a low-cost and powerful cooler and has now been further improved with the Mark II version. This time, attention was paid to the volume and an optimized 120 mm fan was used. The asymmetrically arranged heat sink was displaced both to the rear and to the side. As a result, the Kotetsu Mark II is one of the first coolers to offer a particularly long distance from the first PCI Express slot, as well as excellent compatibility with memory modules with high heat sinks. An optimized production process significantly increased the cooling capacity. In addition, the revised cooler offers a nickel-plated copper bottom plate and also nickel-plated copper heatpipes. The contact points of the four heatpipes were sensibly distributed to the large aluminum heat sink and, together with eight risers, provide a high heat transfer capacity. The scope of supply includes a 120 mm fan which can be supplemented if necessary by an additional model. The required brackets are included in the scope of delivery. The included fan is a PWC model from the Kaze Flex range from Scythe with a very wide control range from 300 to 1,200 rpm. Thus, the Kotetsu Mark II from Ultra-Silent to overclocking is equipped for every purpose, after all, it generates just 4 dB (A) at minimum speed and transports almost 51 CFM at maximum speed. The mounting kit provides very high compatibility for AMD (AM2 (+), AM3 (+), AM4, FM1, FM2 (+)) and Intel processors (775, 115x, 1366, 2011 (-V3), 2066). In addition, with its sturdy screw connection it guarantees a secure fit of the radiator even during transport. Thermal paste and installation instructions are also included and the low overall height of 154 millimeters and the total weight of 645 grams make the Kotetsu Mark II a versatile all-rounder that fits into just about any case.
