NZXT H710i Midi Tower RGB Gaming Case – Black/Red Tempered Glass

The NZXT H710i is the successor to the H700i. This Midi-Tower offers, like its predecessor, a reserved and attractive design. The tempered glass side panel has had its design improved so that now only a single screw protrudes from the rear of the case. This makes an already clean look just that much cleaner, while also placing the panel itself under less stress. Additionally, NZXT has included the Smart Device V2 for controlling fans and RGB-LED accessories, while also giving the front panel a refresh with new ports. The Features des NZXT H710i-Midi-Towers im Überblick:Minimalist case from NZXT in black and redThree Aer F120- and one Aer F140 fan pre-installedLarge side window in tempered glassSpace for two 280 mm- or 360 mm radiatorsIncludes two addressable NZXT HUE 2 RGB-LED stripsSpace for two 280 mm- or 360 mm radiatorsBays for up to five 2,5″- and four 3,5″ drivesVertical GPU mounting compatibleNZXT H710i Midi-Tower: Fit for Modding!NZXT has opted for the tried and tested characteristics of H710i with its smooth exterior and perfect proportions. Changes consist primarily of a practical nature: the tempered glass side panel is attached to the chassis via thumb screws. A single thumbscrew at the back of the case ensures a firm fit as well as simplified access to the interior. This version comes in black with red colour accents. The special feature of the NZXT H710i Midi-Tower lies in the integrated NZXT CAM support, known as Smart Device V2. It is included to enable control over the NZXT Aer F fans as well as the two included NZXT HUE 2 RGB-LED strips, which users will notice straight away through the tempered glass window. The three PWM ports can be hooked up to up nine fans using Y-cables. The RGB ports support four HUE 2 strips in total or up to five NZXT AER RGB fans. An acoustic sensor helps users to maintain the optimal balance between cooling and noise. Control is possible by means of the feature-rich software on PC.Options for Air- and Water CoolingThose who prefer to opt for traditional air cooling will immediately like the NZXT H710i: the front and roof both fit three 120- or two 140 mm fans and the back of the case reserves space for one 120- or 140 mm fan. When it comes to CPU coolers, heights of up to 185 mm are supported. NZXT equips ist Midi-Tower with four in-house-design fans straight from the factory in the form of the Aer series. Three 120 mm models are located in the front and a 140 mm model comes pre-installed in the back to afford users excellent airflow. The front of the case as well as the underside of the PSU include removable dust filters. NZXT have also put plenty of thought into making the installation of custom watercooling as easy as possible: in the front and roof users will be pleased to note that 280- or 360 mm radiators can be installed. The front reserves 60 mm and the roof 30 mm. The back of the case supports the installation of one 120 mm radiator. The cable cover between the motherboard and the front of the case allows reservoirs and pumps up to 224 mm in height to be installed.Plenty of Space for Hardware ComponentsThe interior of the NZXT H710i offers plenty of space for the installation of high-end hardware: Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and ATX motherboards as well as E-ATX motherboards with a width of up to 272 mm are supported. Seven slots for expansion cards are also available with a dedicated GPU of up to 413 mmin length. As with its predecessors, the NZXT H710i does not allow for external drives. Internally however, users will be pleased to note the large number of drives that can be potentially installed: Beneath the PSU shroud is a modular drive cage. This allows for the installation of up to three 3,5″ drives. Next to that, an additional 3,5″ hard drive can be installed at the bottom of the case. Behind the motherboard tray, users have the option of installing two 2,5″ drives in parallel. The PSU shroud allows for two further 2,5″ drives to be installed with an additional 2,5″ drive mounted sideways on the motherboard tray. This allows for the installation of up to four 3,5″ drives and five 2,5″ drives. To the rear of the motherboard tray lie dedicated rails for cable management. There is also approximately 18 to 22 mm space for concealing troublesome cables when needed.
