Plus, each machine will be overclocked by the big man, himself, pushing the hardware to its maximum potential for you. 4K gaming, complex digital rendering, and streaming are all a cinch with the 8Pack Cryocube. Motherboard For its foundation, this gaming PC is equipped with the Asus ROG Z690 Maximus Formula ATX Motherboard. This motherboard boasts PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 support, making it compatible with all the latest hardware. With its impressive power stage distribution and integrated thermal solution, the Maximus Formula is a fantastic motherboard to use in an overclocked system. Plus, its Z690 chipset and LGA1700 socket, it is compatible with the latest generation of Intel Core Processors. Processor At the heart of the Cryocube, 8Pack has opted for an Intel Core i9-12900K CPU. This 12th generation processor has sixteen cores, twenty-four threads, and has been overclocked up to 5.1GHz. Elevating processor performance, Intel’s Alder Lake technology has dedicated performance and efficient cores, with the i9-12000K having eight of each for an even balance. The P- and E-cores work efficiently with Thread Director and Windows 11 integration to intelligently assign cores and workloads. Graphics Card Truly elevating your gaming, the 8Pack Cryocube packs a punch with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card. An absolute titan when it comes to graphical prowess, this GPU utilises Nvidia’s Ampere technology to render every frame in phenomenal detail. Second-gen ray-tracing cores replicate light movement, whilst third-gen Tensor cores realistically shade the images on screen. Whether 3D rendering, 4K gaming, or exploring the virtual world, enjoy hyperrealism at its best. The finishing touch, this graphics card has been overclocked by 8Pack too. DDR5 RAM The last piece of finely tuned hardware in the 8Pack Cryocube is the RAM. Equipped with TeamGroup Delta 32GB DDR5 RAM, this kit has been boosted up to a blistering 6,400MHz. Should you wish to use the Cryocube for complex digital rendering or as your workstation, then you can upgrade to 64GB of DDR5 RAM. Staying Cool With such premium hardware, the 8Pack Cryocube needs an extensive thermal solution to keep this gaming PC working at peak performance. Much like the Hypercube, this system features a fully custom, hard-tubing loop utilising EK Water Blocks hardware and their clear CryoFuel. The whole system is fed into the bespoke distro-plate installed on the front panel of the chassis, which features 8Pack’s iconic branding. There is a second distro-plate elevated in front of the motherboard, and the graphics cards has a dedicated waterblock. Additionally, there are two 360mm radiators mounted on the top panel and beside the motherboard to draw away and ventilate excess heat. This loop is so incredibly efficient and effective, that the radiator fans need only ever be set to low speeds. Thanks to its careful design in CAD programming, the 8Pack Cryocube has natural airflow, which these radiator fans bolster. Fan speeds can be set utilising the included Aqua Computer Aquero 6 LT Fan Controller, equipped with real-time updates on thermal status. The Cryocube always stays cool and quiet. Eight-Pack of Storage Providing you with ample space for games, media, and files alike, the 8Pack Cryocube is equipped with two high-density SSDs. Armed with two WD 2TB NVMe M.2 SSDs, this gaming PC has read and write speeds of 5,000MB/s and 4,400MB/s, respectively. Loading screens and slow boot times will be a thing of the past. Plus, with additional storage options, you can ensure you never run out of storage space! Powering the Beast Powering this phenomenal machine is the Asus ROG Thor 1200W power supply. Rated with an 80 PLUS Platinum certification, this PSU has a 92% efficiency at a 50% load. The inner circuitry is built using 100% Japanese capacitors, to elevate the unit’s stability and durability. Plus, with the OLED screen featured on the casing, you can receive up-to-the-minute updates on your system’s health. Cool Aesthetics Earning its name, the 8Pack Cryocube has a cool, frosty aesthetic. With a custom lightbox and RGB accessories, from the likes of Phanteks, the lighting is set to a crisp blend of whites and blues. This lighting can be controlled utilising Asus Aura, so you can make your own sub-zero look. Even the cables have been matched to meet the theme. Utilising 8Pack’s favourite Pexon braided cables, they are a selection of white and light blue, shaped into smooth curves. Excess cable is maintained behind the motherboard backplate to keep this gaming PC looking sleek. Encased in the Lian Li O11D XL White Full Tower, the Cryocube utilises white hardware at every opportunity, making it a cool addition to any gaming environment. Plus, sporting the bold 8Pack branding, everyone will know what a powerhouse machine you have. Customisng the Cryocube As with a lot of the gaming PC available at Overclockers UK, there are numerous customisation options available for the 8Pack Cryocube. In addition to the previously stated RAM and storage upgrades, cosmetic adjustments are available for the cables, cooling, and colour scheme. It should be noted that any adjustments and upgrades may accrue additional costs and affect the lead time. For such a complex machine, the minimum lead time for the 8Pack Cryocube is 36 days.
